Q: I am in another profession. I am a meteorology major and I want to serve overseas. Is there any way I could use this degree in missions?

You could look for groups of people or organizations of people interested in meteorology or astronomy and join one of these groups. You could witness to people in this group or invite them to your church. You could possibly get a part time job that requires meteorology and witness to people at that job.

There seems to be a high turnover rate at these jobs because many people don’t want to work the early morning hours shift and some burnout with the job. It is a good job for witness because in some meteorology jobs you only work about 15 minutes of each hour.
